Partners offers a number of live educational events to enhance the care of patients with  bleeding disorders by increasing the knowledge of their providers. The live events are open only to staff of federally recognized hemophilia treatment centers only. Please view the details of the live events below (click "Read More") and click "Apply" to submit an application.

Presentation Skills Workshop (Regular)


  • Description: The purpose of this two-day workshop is to provide participants with the tools necessary to plan, create, execute and evaluate a presentation suited to a selected audience. The learning process will involve participation from the learner. This program, like all Partners programs, is free to attend. Travel and lodging are paid for by the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center. Upon registering, you will be contacted approximately 4 weeks before the program with further details.
  • Audience: Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) providers who would like to improve their content development and presentation delivery skills.

Advanced Partners (I)


  • Description: The purpose of this program is to enhance knowledge of hemophilia management utilizing literature review, shared experiences, and networking among Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) nurses. Advanced I is not a prerequisite of Advanced II. The Advanced programs are tailored to providers who are confident with independent decision making in the care of persons with bleeding disorders. This program, like all Partners programs, is free to attend. Travel and lodging are paid for by the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center. Upon registering, you will be contacted approximately 4 weeks before the program with further details.
  • Audience: Nurses, physician assistants, and pharmacists who currently are, and have been practicing for at least 2 years in the federally recognized U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) Network.
