Live Events - Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education

Partners offers a number of live educational events to enhance the care of patients with bleeding disorders by increasing the knowledge of their providers. The live events are open only to staff of federally recognized hemophilia treatment centers only.Please view the details of the live events below (click "Read More") and click "Apply" to submit an application.

Important Note: Due to our programs' popularity and limited seating, it is not permissible for more than two (2) employees from the same HTC to attend the same program.

Basic Partners Program for Clinical Staff (LIVE)


  • Description: The Basic Partners Program is intended to provide a solid introductory foundation for the basics of hemophilia and von Willebrand disease and increase competence to provide high quality bleeding disorder management within a multidisciplinary comprehensive care team as derived from evidence-based education, standardized guidelines, and professional networking. This activity, like all Partners Programs, is free to attend. Apply for this activity by completing the Application Form. Upon approval by your Regional Administrator, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be contacted at least 4 weeks prior to the activity with logistical details, including air and ground transportation and hotel information.
  • Audience: Multidisciplinary clinical providers who currently are, and have been, practicing in the federally recognized U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) network for at least 6 months*, including nurses, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, social workers, and other professionals who care for persons with bleeding disorders.

    *Program content is most beneficial for those with 6-12 months experience working with patients with bleeding disorders.

Advanced Topics II for the Nursing Care Team (LIVE)


  • Description: This program aims to enable the learner to expand upon the basic hemophilia management knowledge base including pharmacological treatments, using current literature and best practice review, case study analysis, professional networking, and methods designed to raise care quality for persons with hemophilia treated within the federally recognized U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) Network. This activity, like all Partners Programs, is free to attend. Apply for this program by completing the Application Form. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be contacted at least 4 weeks prior to the program with logistical details, including air and ground transportation and hotel information.
  • Audience: Hemophilia treatment center nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team who have treated persons with bleeding disorders for at least two (2) years.

  • Description: The purpose of the Presentation Skills Workshop is to enable the learner to develop knowledge and gain skill to create and deliver engaging and informative presentations, including executive presence skills such as confidence and managing nervousness and anxiety; message organization; creating impactful slides; and tailoring and delivering an influential message to your audience. This interactive program offers opportunities to learn and practice executive communication skills with real-time, in person active coaching. This program aims to enable participants in roles such as patient intake/scheduling, insurance & financial services, program & administrative coordinators, IT operations, human resources, and other administrative roles, to develop knowledge about bleeding disorders and comprehensive care provided at HTCs. The content level of this activity is basic. This activity, like all Partners Programs, is free to attend. Apply for this activity by completing the Application Form. Upon approval by your Regional Administrator, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be contacted at least 4 weeks prior to the activity with logistical details, including air and ground transportation and hotel information.
