Important Announcement!

To reduce risk of COVID-19 exposure among participants and faculty, all Partners Program events for the remainder of 2020 will be hosted as webinars. These live, interactive programs will feature similar content delivered by the same speakers as the in-person programs. These online programs will also carry continuing education credits for individuals in the target audience(s) who participate in a program in its entirety. Seats in all programs are limited. 2021 Live Partners Program Dates Available!

Partners offers a number of live educational events to enhance the care of patients with  bleeding disorders by increasing the knowledge of their providers. The live events are open only to staff of federally recognized hemophilia treatment centers only. Please view the details of the live events below (click "Read More") and click "Apply" to submit an application.

Advanced Partners (I - Live)


  • Description: This program aims to enable the learner to expand upon the basic hemophilia management knowledge base, using current literature and best practice review, case study analysis, professional networking, and methods designed to raise nursing care quality for persons with hemophilia treated within the federally recognized U.S. HTC network. This program, like all Partners Programs, is free to attend. Apply for this program by completing the Application Form. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be contacted at least 4 weeks prior to the program with logistical details, including air and ground transportation and hotel information. Partners Programs are supported by independent medical education grants from Shire Human Genetic Therapies Inc. and Genentech. Participant travel and lodging are paid for by an at-will contribution from the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center.
  • Audience: Nurses and nurse practitioners who currently are, and have been practicing for at least 2 years in the U.S. HTC network, and wish to gain knowledge and competence of hemophilia management

Advanced Partners (Physical Therapists - Live)


  • Description: This program aims to enhance the ability of the HTC physical therapist to clinically evaluate and assess persons with hemophilia using evidence-based methodology in a family-centered care environment. This program, like all Partners Programs, is free to attend. Apply for this program by completing the Application Form. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be contacted at least 4 weeks prior to the program with logistical details, including air and ground transportation and hotel information. Partners Programs are supported by independent medical education grants from Shire Human Genetic Therapies Inc. and Genentech. Participant travel and lodging are paid for by an at-will contribution from the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center.
  • Audience: Physical therapists who are employed full-or part-time by a federally recognized HTC and treat patients with bleeding disorders and wish to expand their clinical decision-making and patient evaluation and assessment skills beyond the introductory level of the Basic Partners Program
