    Physician Assistants and Nurses | New CE Activity: VWD, July 2019

    PartnersPRN has released the module An Overview of the Background, Inheritance and Pathophysiology of von Willebrand Disease. This complimentary online learning activity provides an outline of the history, inheritance, and pathophysiology of von Willebrand Disease (VWD).

    The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity is provided for 0.75 contact hours under ANCC criteria.

    This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 0.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid for one year from 07/19/2019. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

    Sickle Cell Disease CE Activities Released! March 2019

    PartnersPRN releases a series of three continuing education activities on Sickle Cell Disease: Comprehensive Care of Adolescents and Young Adults with Sickle Cell Disease, Hydroxyurea for the Treatment of Sickle Cell Disease, and Best Transition Practices for Adolescents and Young Adults with Sickle Cell Disease. The activities are intended for Nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care providers who treat persons with sickle cell disease and wish to improve outcomes associated with care for these persons. Dr. Emily Riehm Meier, Pediatric Hematologist and Director of Sickle Cell Research at the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, Inc., is the faculty for the modules.

    All modules are offered free of charge and carry ANCC contact hours and AAPA Category 1 CME Credit!
